Your rights
Depending on applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can request:
- Access and portability: a copy of your information. Signed in, use Settings → Your data to request an export. Encrypted chats may need a separate export from your device.
- Correction: changes to inaccurate information. You can edit many details in Settings.
- Deletion: use Settings → Account security, or read the deletion instructions. Some records may need to be retained for legal or other permitted purposes.
- Objection or restriction: ask us to stop or limit a particular use, including direct marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent: change optional analytics choices in Settings → Privacy, revoke device permissions, or contact us about another consent-based activity.
- Review: where applicable, request human intervention in a solely automated decision with a legal or similarly significant effect, explain your position and challenge the decision.
How we handle requests
Use the form below whether or not you can sign in, or email support. Tell us what you need and the relevant account. We may verify your identity and ask for information needed to locate records. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or chat recovery keys.
We respond within applicable legal time limits, aiming to answer within 30 days. We will explain any lawful exception, refusal or extension. You may complain directly to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority; you do not have to contact us first.
Children and teenagers
Beexie requires a minimum age of 13, or a higher local minimum. Parents and guardians can contact us about a child's information or a suspected underage account. Our teen privacy safeguards and feature age limits explain the distinction between catalogue gifting and adult-only cash features.
