Everyone deserves respect. Celebrate creativity, do business honestly and show appreciation freely. These standards explain what is welcome, what is prohibited and how to report a concern or appeal a decision.
01
A community built on respect
Beexie brings business and social life together. People should be able to share their work, express themselves and find their community without being exploited or intimidated. Be honest, respect people's boundaries and take responsibility for what you share.
These rules apply to all users, including creators, businesses and advertisers, across videos, sounds, stories, lives, profiles, comments, messages, groups, channels, Circles, gifts and transactions. Paid or private access does not exempt content from the rules. These guidelines form part of our Terms of use.
02
Protect children and teenagers
Child sexual abuse, grooming, exploitation, sexual solicitation and sexualised depictions of anyone under 18 are prohibited. This includes synthetic or manipulated material and attempts to exchange such material. Do not request intimate images, arrange exploitative contact or pressure young people into sexual or dangerous activity.
Do not repost suspected child sexual abuse material to condemn it. Report the content or account without downloading or redistributing it. We may preserve relevant evidence and make legally required reports to competent authorities.
Beexie requires a minimum age of 13, or the higher local minimum. Live participation starts at 16; cash transfers, payments, tips and withdrawals are 18+. Eligible catalogue gifting starts at 13, with parental permission and applicable restrictions. Do not exploit this access or encourage a teenager to overspend.
03
Violence, hatred and harassment
Do not threaten violence, incite attacks, celebrate violent atrocities, recruit for violent extremist groups or facilitate human trafficking or exploitation. Content documenting an event must not become encouragement to commit harm.
We prohibit hateful attacks and dehumanisation based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity. Do not organise harassment, stalk people, sexually harass them, make coercive threats or target someone with repeated unwanted contact.
Disagreement and criticism are allowed within these boundaries. Respect blocks and do not create other accounts to reach someone who has refused contact.
04
Mental wellbeing and dangerous acts
Supportive conversations about mental health and recovery are welcome. Do not encourage suicide, self-harm or eating disorders, provide instructions that facilitate them, or glorify harmful behaviour.
Do not promote dangerous challenges, reckless stunts or misuse of substances likely to cause serious injury. Do not pressure participants into unsafe acts for views, gifts or live-battle points. Context, educational purpose and the risk of imitation matter when we assess content.
If someone faces an immediate danger, contact local emergency services. An in-app report is not an emergency response service.
05
Sexual content, graphic harm and cruelty
Do not share pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexual services or non-consensual intimate imagery. Sexual deepfakes, intimate-image threats and voyeuristic recordings are prohibited. Consent to record is not automatically consent to publish.
Do not post graphic violence primarily to shock, glorify cruelty, or depict animal abuse for entertainment. Legitimate educational, health, artistic, documentary or news context may affect how material is handled, but does not excuse exploitation or serious harm. Some otherwise permitted sensitive material may be restricted or excluded from recommendations.
06
Honesty and authentic participation
Do not impersonate people or organisations, operate scams, fake testimonials, fabricate a business or misrepresent a product. Clearly identify parody, fan accounts and material commercial relationships.
Do not buy or sell fake followers, views, reviews or engagement; coordinate spam; manipulate gifts, rankings or live battles; or evade account restrictions. Do not spread deceptive claims likely to cause serious harm, including dangerous medical misinformation or false voting instructions.
Clearly disclose realistic AI-generated or materially altered media when people could reasonably mistake it for a real person or event. Do not use a cloned face or voice to defraud, sexually exploit, falsely endorse a product or mislead people about a significant event.
07
Responsible business and regulated goods
Show accurate prices, availability, product details and service conditions. Honour bookings and consumer rights, disclose paid promotions, and hold any licences your business requires. Verification does not mean Beexie endorses every claim or product.
Do not offer illegal drugs, illicit weapons, stolen or counterfeit goods, trafficking services, fraudulent documents or sexual exploitation. Do not facilitate unlawful gambling, pyramid schemes, money laundering or deceptive investment schemes. Regulated goods and services must comply with applicable laws and may be restricted or unavailable on Beexie.
Never collect card credentials, account passwords, one-time codes or wallet PINs in chats. Use the appropriate payment and verification flows. Do not pressure customers to bypass platform protections or make misleading refund promises.
08
Gifts, paid lives and appreciation
Gifts should be freely chosen expressions of appreciation. Do not shame, threaten, sexually solicit or manipulate anyone into gifting or subscribing. Never promise guaranteed profit, employment, a prize or a personal relationship in return for gifts.
Live battles and competitions must not become betting schemes or dangerous dares. Do not recycle payments to fabricate popularity or use stolen funds. Clearly explain paid access and what a subscriber or ticket holder receives; do not sell access to prohibited content.
Gifts do not buy consent, ownership or control over another person. Age, verification and payment limits still apply.
09
Privacy, security and creative rights
Do not expose someone's private address, identity documents, financial details or other sensitive information without permission or another lawful basis. Do not share private conversations to endanger or harass people, or record and publish others in ways that violate their rights.
Do not steal accounts, distribute malware, phish, bypass security controls or misuse personal data obtained through Beexie. Report security concerns to [email protected] without exposing private data publicly.
Respect copyright, trademarks and permissions for music, videos, live performances, avatars and business branding. Our Intellectual Property Policy explains reports and appeals.
10
Hyperfeed and recommendation eligibility
Being allowed on Beexie does not guarantee recommendation in Hyperfeed or other discovery surfaces. We may limit the distribution of sensitive, misleading, spam-like, repetitious or low-quality material, content with unclear rights, and material unsuitable for a broad audience.
Recommendation decisions consider safety, context, audience and content quality. Accounts cannot buy a guarantee of organic reach through gifts or paid verification. Advertising and paid promotion are subject to their own approval and disclosure requirements.
11
Report a problem and use your controls
Use the report menu on a post, comment, profile or live, or the reporting controls available in messages. Choose the closest reason and provide useful context. For a concern you cannot report in the app, contact [email protected] with links and relevant details.
Ordinary in-app reports are handled privately. Formal legal or intellectual property processes can require sharing relevant information, as described in our policies. Reporting an encrypted chat can send selected message evidence from your device for review.
You can block or mute accounts, adjust your audience and messaging permissions, and use sensitive-content and time-management settings. Please make reports honestly; coordinated false reports are an abuse of the system.
12
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on context, severity and history, we may remove content, restrict visibility or recommendations, stop a live, limit features or monetisation, suspend an account or permanently remove it. Severe violations can lead to immediate action. We may preserve evidence or cooperate with lawful requests where required.
We use reports, automated signals and review to help enforce these rules. Mistakes can happen. Use the appeal option associated with a decision, or email [email protected] with your username, decision reference and explanation. We may change a decision when new information or a review shows it was wrong.
We update these guidelines as Beexie and community needs change. The date above identifies the current version; significant changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
